Periodic post

Our little Tallie has put on some weight. She's adding a roll a day to her appendages.

Apparently ranch dressing is better if you put your face directly in it.

Our neighbor Donna caught Tallie in a good mood for a few minutes.

A few pics

Nana's (West Slope) Garden

When Tallie was born, Nana Beth came over and stayed for a week to help out. While she was here, she planted a great flower garden in our leaning-tower-of-Pisa planter. And 8 weeks later, this is what her work looks like. Thanks Nana!

New theme park

We've been looking online for dense play pads that we could use under our little playground so we don't have to keep dragging it on and off the yard every day or two. Turns out Sam's Club had them in stock (and cheaper, of course) so we pulled the trigger. Piper seems to like it. Tallie not so much. Six Flags it is not, but when you live out here in rural America you have to learn to make do!

One part mud, one part watermelon

We turned the Pistol loose in the backyard after we finished watering and shockingly she found some mud and proceeded to eat it...as an appetizer, it turned out, for her next course of watermelon.

DNA

It appears that Tallie has been passed down the disappearing-eyes-when-smiling genes from her daddy and Nana Beth.

Smiles caught on tape

Just past the six week mark and we were able to capture these great smiles on camera tonight.
